The competitive advantage comes with the Alley brand already being in the top 3 co-working spaces in NYC.  More advantages include the pricing model, location, the niche (creative market), location, which also serves as an organic form of digital + physical marketing.  There are also unlimited supplemental advantages that comes as a result of combing the networks of creative, business, and tech.

 

Mike:

As individuals, we do not have a competitive advantage in the co-working real estate industry.  That is why we are seeking partners with competitive advantages in developing this model.  The competitive advantage comes with the Alley brand already being in the top 3 co-working spaces in NYC and with the track record of success.  Potential additional competitive advantages that would arise from this venture would include the development of the "freemium" pricing model, the BKLYN location, gaining traction within niche (creative market), increase brand equity - organic form of digital + physical marketing.  There are also supplemental advantages that comes as a result of combing the networks of creative, business, and tech, which would result in a multitude of opportunities to expand secondary support service revenue streams for the co-working model (example - rent or share resources for high quality rendering).

Scalable, can be franchised based on location and niche categories

Our competitive advantage comes from our network equity and relationship with the Alley brand, being in the top 3 co-working spaces in NYC. Our network equity is deeply rooted in the youth generation who are leading in their respective industries, some being finance, creative services, public speaking, and fashion. Our advantage is that our network is built from the ground floor with individuals who have created small businesses from freelance hustle. Our market is growing very rapidly and will have a higher demand in 2017. The niche market created in Bushwick has organically gained traction that has increased brand equity within the digital + physical market. We would be bridging the gap of business and creative individual professionals.
